Gratitude List 18/3/23
The Young Dancer by Enzo Plazzotta is situated on Broad Court just outside The Bow Magistrate Court, which now a hotel. I enjoy her purposefulness and her purity. For dance: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The Young Dancer offers a sharp contrast to the dramas that took place in the Bow Magistrate Court. Emmeline and Christabel Pankhurst, the Kray Twins as well as Dr Crippen were tried here. For heroism, justice and complexity: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I awoke startled from yet another dream. Again I was at first alarmed and then I realised that everything was alright. In this dream I saw my cat Keddie when she was young. She died when she was 22 years old. As I doted upon her it was lovely to have a glimpse of her again, even if just in a dream. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Later my day filled up with clients and then sitting at Buddha on a Bicycle. For engagement: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I am not sure what was going on in this patch of London today, the helicopters whirled overhead. On the surface there is a lot of freedom here, but underneath everything this freedom is carefully curated. For liberty: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Flo provides constancy to my day. She is walked, fed and given gravy bones. She receives these services with endless enthusiasm. But still does not bother to get up to say hello when I come home! For chutzpah: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Because I was so much inside I saw very little of the rain. For springtime and the flowers that are yet to come: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
There was a glass of wine left over from yesterday: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Covent Garden is an intense urban environment. I am saved by the skies which have clouds scudding, reminding me of freedom: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the sum of the day. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
