Gratitude List 22.9.22
This is The Patterdale whose name is Flo in her new winter coat. For Practicality which also borders on the absurd. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I found Flo's coat in a corner in Fortnam and Mason. It is made of hand-woven tweed, in the sale, a bargain. I love bargains. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The reason that I was in Fortnam and Mason is that my younger son had invited me for ice cream as a celebration of an achievement (of his). There is a Yiddish word to describe emotion on such an occasion. The word is V'clempt. This means feeling choked and heartful, simultaneously crying and joyful. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The season is changing. This brings me a sharpening of focus, of intent. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
As I write this I am in silence. The summer has been busy and noisy. For Peace: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Writing this, there is a cup of coffee next to me. I am conscious of the journey of the coffee on so many levels. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
The process of writing a gratitude list brings alignment and prayer. For blessings: Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
My younger son will leave in 4 days to return to University. For education, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
Over the last week, London expanded to absorb an extra million people. Today the energy feels more settled. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
For the sum of this list, with all of the threads and energy weaved within. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
